This is Westward Planning - an independent town planning consultancy based in the South West of the UK.
Whatever your town planning needs, Westward Planning is here to help you. We primarily cover right across the Westcountry (Devon, Dorset Cornwall, Somerset, Wiltshire and the former Avon area), so know the geography of this beautiful region, as well as its planning constraints and pressures well. Westward Planning Limited is run and managed by Alex Sebbinger BA(Hons), MSc(Geog), MSc(TP). Alex is a fully qualified Town Planner with a huge amount of experience of planning matters. This covers rural developments, agricultural matters, historic buildings, conservation issues, all the way through to new urban developments. Alex has a wide experience of urban and rural planning pressures having worked on urban extension projects, new green belt developments, enabling developments and constraints within Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, including Planning and Enforcement Appeals.
Having both a background of Local Government as well as that in private practice covering many years, Alex has significant experience on how planning matters are handled at the front line, which can be used to your advantage in whatever planning matter you need assistance with. Planning is a very emotive subject, and Alex is able to set out the facts clearly and objectively, and work through to a positive solution.
When Westward Planning was created, there were a number of key principles that we wanted to set out:
- To provide a quality, fast and effective service.
- To cut through jargon and explain planning matters in understandable terms.
- To maintain positive working relationships with all Local Planning Authorities and required Agencies.
- To get results and do this in the most efficient way as possible.
